J’adore ces crayons mais il ne faut pas trop colorier sinon c’est trop foncé. Un vrai plaisir

I purchased the 24-color set to get started with these pencils. I have absolutely no knock against them for quality; these perform beautifully, and the pigments released spread like very good paint with a simple water brush. My main point against them is that the colors chosen are not ones which are very… nature-complementary.
The blues and greens included were definitely not helping me to capture the colors of either deciduous or coniferous trees outside, and the skies needed a lot of mixing to get the colors even nearly right for my Midwestern view. I ended up ordering individual colors from another art supply store which had EVERY color on-hand.
I don’t feel the 48-color set had what I would have wanted, either, so if you’re going to get serious about these pencils, go for the larger sets. Otherwise, these are game-changers for doing plein air work! I love being able to sketch with them instead of with graphite, and removing the lines in the final wash when I get home!
